Overview

This guide details the steps to Download the Mobile App, Create an Account, and Login for the first time, once you have an active Residential Tenancy Agreement with a Mondofi Smart Building.

If you’ve already Created an Account and are able to Login to your account via the Mondofi Mobile Application, then you may skip this guide, and start here instead: Mobile App Navigation.

Email Received: Rental Application Approved

Once your Rental Application review process is completed and your Lease Agreement is signed & approved, an email will be sent to your registered email address.

The email will include the following attachments:

  • A copy of your signed Residential Tenancy Agreement (Lease Agreement)
  • A copy of your Application for Tenancy
  • A copy of any Addendums applicable to the Lease Agreement

The email will include the following links:

  • Download and Install the Mondofi Mobile Application to your smartphone
  • Submit your Banking Information
  • Book an Elevator (if applicable)

Important: You can only access the Mondofi Mobile Application once you have a finalized Lease Agreement via a Mondofi Rental Application

Access is obtained via the email address and phone number used during the Rental Application process. 

Download and Install the Mondofi Mobile Application

On your Mobile Device, tap on the appropriate link from the Rental Application Approved emails to download the Mondofi Mobile Application.

For Android

Tap on the Get It On Google Play button.

You may also Search for “Mondofi” in the Google Play Store

The full app name is “Mondofi Smart Building Resident App”.

Download & Install the app on your Mobile device.

Launching the App (for the first time)

Loading Screen

While the app is starting-up, a loading screen appears displaying the Mondofi logo. 

Please wait while the app is launching. 

It should not take more than a minute.

Permissions

You will immediately be requested to grant permission for Mondofi to record audio.

At later stages when using certain app functions for the first time, permissions will be requested, including:

  • Record Audio – for using Mondofi Access Control features
  • Microphone – for using Mondofi Access Control features
  • Files & Media – for uploading documents when applying for Carshare 
  • Camera – for verifying documents when applying for Carshare
  • Location – for using Mondofi Carshare

If your device’s permissions are reset (i.e. by clearing app data), you will be requested for permissions again.

Welcome

Welcome to the Mondofi Mobile App!

You obtain access to the app once you have a signed lease with a Mondofi Building. The guide to the Rental Application process is found here: 

Getting Started with Mondofi

Access to the app is made via the email address and phone number you provided during your Rental Application process.

The Mondofi Mobile Application allows Tenants to Mondofi Buildings to facilitate various features relating to your tenancy, including:

  • Access Control to the Building
  • Use Mondofi Carsharing
  • Reviewing your Lease Agreement
  • Review the Suites Condition Inspection Report from Start of Tenancy 
  • Communicate with the Building Manager(s)
  • Receive Important Building Announcements
  • Follow the progress of Issues associated with your Suite

Once you have a signed lease with a Mondofi Building, please tap Create An Account to proceed.

If you already created an account in the Mondofi Mobile App, please tap Login to proceed.

Create an Account

Tapping on  Create An Account  will display the account activation screen. 

Please enter the email address and phone number you used on your rental application.

Tap Next to proceed.

Authentication via One-Time-Passcode (OTP)

A 4-digit one-time-passcode (OTP) will be sent to your phone via text message (SMS).

Please enter the 4-digit code into the boxes displayed and tap  Submit  to proceed.

Note: your passcode is only valid for 90 seconds.

Once expired, you may request a new OTP by tapping the RESEND button on the center of the screen.

Create a Password

You will be asked to Set New Password, consisting of:

  • 8 or more characters
  • Upper & lowercase letters
  • At least one number

Then, Confirm New Password in the 2nd input field.

Once ready and validation passes, tap Submit to proceed.

If successful, then a message will appear on your screen. 

Tapping Ok will direct you to the Login screen.

Login an Account

Enter your registered email address and password.

Important: your email address will be your account ID. It is the key information used to identify you.

To proceed, tap  Login .

If you forgot your password and wish to create a new password, please tap on the Forgot Password link.

If you have not created an account yet, please tap on the Sign Up link.

If the login was successful, your Suite screen will be displayed.

Forgot Password

From the Login an Account screen, tapping on the Forgot Password link will prompt you to enter Your Email ID.

Once your email address is entered, tap on Next to proceed.

Authentication via One-Time-Passcode (OTP)

An email will be sent with the subject line “Reset password instructions”, containing a 4-digit One-Time-Passcode (OTP).

Please enter the 4-digit passcode into the input boxes which appeared on your mobile device screen, then tap  Submit  to proceed.

Note: your passcode is only valid for 90 seconds.

Once expired, you may request a new OTP by tapping the RESEND button on the center of the screen.

Once you are authenticated, you will be asked to Set New Password, consisting of:

  • 8 or more characters
